Lovin’this soft basket designed by Doug Johnston
“The Cap’n is made from 100 feet of #6 100% cotton sash cord and sewing thread. The piece is flexible but stiff enough to hold its shape. There is a funky horizontal handle that sets out from the side to move it around and add some extra character. It makes a great basket for holding items like magazines, or knitting wool but is lovely enough to just rest on it’s own.”
A beautiful little memo roll from Japanese designer Chiaki Murata. The paper is perforated every 10 cm for a clean tear along the brass bar, which also doubles as a weight.
